Cobalt Eclipse, Swirling Blue and Orange Abstract

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A swirling abstract in saturated cobalt blue and burnt orange fills the left of the frame. Spiral-centered, bubble-like orbs sit inside a large circular form wrapped in curling orange ribbons. To the right, the colors cool into teal, aqua and green, and the shapes loosen into softer, broken marbled patterns. Dark brown shadows and a band of fine speckles along the top edge add contrast and depth.

A collector wants this for its color collision and its glow. A big cobalt-blue disc wrapped in curling orange ribbons and studded with spiral-centered orbs sits against a cooler teal and green field. The blue and orange are complementary, so the left side hits hard. The right side loosens and cools, giving the eye somewhere to rest. It looks lit from within, with dark brown shadows around the saturated color. The visual intensity is reason enough to own it. It needs no story.
