Ember Constellation, Glowing Stars in Red and Green Liquid Color

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A horizontal abstract of flowing, glossy color in which red, green, cream and blue-grey blend into each other like liquid. Thin, branching white lines that resemble antlers or tendrils curl across the surface. Several small glowing star shapes are scattered through the upper and lower areas. The whole image looks smooth, luminous and in motion.

Someone would want this piece for the contrast between its glowing white star and branch forms and the deep, melting fields of crimson, forest green and cream around them. Many fluid abstracts are only soft colour blends. Here thin, crisp, antler-like tendrils and small star shapes float across the liquid colour and lead the eye around the frame, so the image has both a mood and something to look at closely. The warm red band anchors it, and the glossy, backlit glow gives it presence. It works as a vivid, lively abstract with no required meaning.
