Ember Core: Glowing Orange Abstract on Cobalt Blue

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

An abstract composition of glowing, translucent color shapes. A bright orange-red diagonal band meets a yellow-orange glow at the center, with a green-and-amber rounded form below and a glossy red oval to the right. Deep blue areas surround them, and the edges blur softly. Fine cracks, thin lines and tiny speckles give the glassy surfaces some detail.

Someone wants this piece for the glowing orange-yellow core. It looks lit from behind, set against deep cobalt blue with a glossy ruby oval on the right. Many colorful abstracts are flat or busy. This one has a single hot center of light, a strong hot-against-cool contrast, and fine hairline cracks and tiny speckles that reward a closer look. It suits a buyer with a blank wall who wants vivid, dramatic color and doesn't need a calming picture.
