Ember Quadrants - Mirrored Orange and Navy Abstract

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A symmetrical abstract in which a deep navy cross-shaped space fills the center. In each corner, mirrored swirls of orange, gold and yellow curl around glowing cyan and yellow orbs. Lavender and blue marbled shapes rise toward pointed peaks at the top and bottom edges. A wavy turquoise-green border with fine swirling lines frames the whole composition.

A collector wants this piece for its instant color shock and its strict order. Glowing orange, gold and yellow swirls with cyan orbs sit in four mirrored corners, held against a deep navy cross-shaped center and a wavy turquoise-green frame. Many symmetrical abstracts are pastel or muddy. This one is saturated and high-contrast, and the dark center makes the bright forms glow like backlit stained glass. Visual attraction alone is reason enough to want it.
