Ember Current, Orange and Amber Swirls
Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal
A richly colored abstract filled with swirling, liquid-looking shapes in burnt orange, amber, olive green and dark brown. Long glossy streaks run down the left side, and the right side opens into larger loops and a pale, glowing burst of cream and yellow. Small spirals and fine bright lines repeat across the surface, giving it the look of molten glass or marbled liquid. Flecks of violet, red and blue add small sparks of contrast within the warm palette.
A collector wants this for its heat and glow. Burnt orange and deep amber flow in glossy ribbons across the whole frame, and a pale cream flare near the upper right gives the eye somewhere to land. Thousands of small spirals and fine bright edges reward a closer look, so it reads as rich from across the room and detailed up close. Among warm abstracts, most are flat color fields or soft gradients. This one looks like light passing through liquid glass, with a sense of rushing movement.
