Lilac Masquerade, Mirrored Abstract

A mirror-symmetrical abstract made of glossy, swirling shapes in pale lilac, dark brown, olive green and burnt orange. Curling scroll forms spread left and right from a central mask-like shape, with looping rings at the top and bottom. The surface looks smooth and liquid, with thin dark outlines and overlapping translucent layers.

A stranger scrolling past stops because the image looks like it is moving and looks back at them. Glossy, liquid shapes in pale lilac, olive green and burnt orange mirror across a centre line and resolve into a mask-like or creature-like face with scrolled wings. Most symmetrical abstracts read as pattern or kaleidoscope. This one reads as a presence. The colour is also unusual for a room: soft lilac against deep brown-black and fiery orange, which suits someone who wants a wide, bold piece with warmth and drama rather than a safe neutral.
