Hearth Light, Mirrored Abstract in Orange and Rust

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A mirrored abstract design of smooth, flowing shapes in orange, rust red, brown and olive green. A bright cream-colored rounded form glows at the center. Curved bands and a dark horizontal bar frame it, and fine grain-like lines run through the shapes.

A stranger is stopped by a warm, glowing centre. A pale cream orb sits in a perfectly mirrored frame of molten orange, rust and olive, and it can read as a face or a totem figure. It is not another generic swirl, because the symmetry is strict and the colours are rich earth tones. Someone with a finished room in warm neutrals could picture it on one particular wall.
