Cobalt Starbloom, Blue Abstract on Glowing Gold
Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal
A bold blue star- or flower-like shape sits at the center of a glowing field of gold and orange. Green tendrils, aqua streaks and small spiral swirls curl around it on both sides. At the bottom, rippling blue lines suggest water. The surface is smooth and glossy, and the whole scene seems to be flowing outward.
A collector wants this for the jolt of its blue and gold contrast. A dark cobalt star-or-flower form sits in the middle of a glowing yellow and orange field, and green tendrils and small spiral eddies curl around it. The glossy, poured look and the rippled blue lines along the bottom make it read as something melting and flowing. Plenty of abstracts are colorful. Few pair a single bold central bloom with this much liquid movement and such a clear focal point.
