Amber Current - Radiating Blue and Gold Abstract

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A horizontal abstract of swirling, glossy color in amber, burnt orange and gold, cut through with bright cobalt and electric blue. Streaks radiate outward from a smooth brown center, where a curved blue-white sweep with a pointed tip stands out. Curling ripples and feathery wave patterns drift along the left and right sides. The whole surface looks fluid and lit from within, like molten glass or liquid in motion.

A collector wants this piece for its glowing contrast: a warm, glossy amber-and-brown center that radiates bands of cobalt blue and gold, with a bright blue arc across the top. It looks lit from within and has a strong sense of motion. Most warm abstracts are muted or settle into a single hue. Here the cool blue sweep cuts through the warmth, so the eye keeps moving around the center. The appeal is purely visual, and that is reason enough.
