Cobalt Core: Glowing Abstract Swirls

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A horizontal abstract with a large deep blue shape in the center, surrounded by swirling ribbons of red, orange, yellow, pink and cyan. The colors look translucent and glowing, like dyed smoke or ink in water. A thin blue rectangular line frames the image, and a softer blurred margin lies outside it. The curling forms and strong contrast between warm and cool colors make the whole piece feel lively and bold.

A collector wants this for the contrast: a dense, calm cobalt-blue center held inside glowing red, orange, magenta and cyan ribbons that curl toward it. The colors look backlit and translucent, so the piece reads as light more than paint. The thin inner border sets the scene in a frame of its own, which gives it a finished, gallery-like look. The appeal is visual impact, with no story needed.
