Mount Gardner Methow Valley Landscape

Snow-covered mountain peaks rise in the middle distance under a deep blue, cloudless sky. In front of them, ridges of dark evergreen forest and dry tan hillsides overlap in layers, and a sunlit grassy slope fills the lower right. The whole surface has a fine painterly texture, and the colors are vivid, especially the blue of the sky and the white of the snow.

This piece offers the crisp, expansive feeling of a high-altitude mountain view without the visual noise of a standard photograph. The painterly texture softens the details just enough to make it feel like a painting, while the intense saturation of the blue sky and white snow provides immediate visual impact. It is distinctive because it captures the specific light and color contrast of the Methow Valley—deep greens, bright whites, and electric blues—in a way that feels both realistic and stylized, making it an anchor for a room that needs a sense of open space.
