Amber Comet, Glowing Abstract in Cobalt Blue

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A glowing amber and gold teardrop shape streaks diagonally across a deep cobalt blue field. It ends in a dark brown-rimmed oval with a pale, star-like burst at its center. A halo of green and yellow-green, crossed by fine curved lines, wraps around the form like a wake. Tiny bubbles and specks across the glassy-looking surface add sparkle and depth.

Someone wants this piece for its glowing amber comet shape set against deep cobalt blue. The blue and gold contrast is bold, and the dark-ringed oval with its pale starburst centre works like a bright eye that pulls you in. The diagonal sweep gives it real momentum, and the fine swirling lines and tiny bubbles reward a closer look. Few abstracts in blue and gold are this luminous and this clearly focused on one point.
