Ember Heart, Macro Glass in Orange and Red

A close-up abstract of glossy, translucent colour in orange, red, yellow, violet and cream. At the centre is a speckled, brownish-red shape with pointed ends and a thin bright outline. Small droplets and glints dot the smooth surfaces around it.

Someone wants this piece because it stops them as pure colour and then rewards a second look. A dense, speckled, heart-like pocket of rust-red and green sits inside smooth, saturated bands of orange, yellow, violet and pink. A thin bright glass edge outlines the pocket, and small droplets and glints catch the light around it. Most warm abstracts are flat colour fields. This one has a clear focal point, a grainy centre set against glossy glass, and a sense of drifting movement, so it works both as a glance across the room and as something to stand in front of.
