Where Two Crimson Wings Hold a Glowing Golden Heart
Ember Wings is a vertical, mirror-symmetrical abstract in crimson, burnt orange and gold, where a glowing yellow core sits between two flame-like swirls.

Look at the center first. A golden yellow column of heart shapes and fine lattice runs straight down the middle, and it looks lit from behind. On either side, deep crimson ribbons sweep in from the edges like flames or folded wings.
I'm Omaste Witkowski, and this is Ember Wings. It is a tall, strictly symmetrical abstract in red, orange and gold. If bold warm color and perfect mirroring are what you're looking for, this one may already have your attention.

What your eye finds when it slows down
The design is mirrored left to right and top to bottom, so every curve has a twin. That strict symmetry gives the swirling forms an ornamental, almost creature-like presence. The hearts, wings and flames are impressions the shapes suggest, not fixed subjects, so you can find your own.
Your eye travels inward along the red sweeps, rests on the bright core, then drifts out to the pale peach and apricot lobes at the top and bottom. Those pale areas look translucent against the darker red, so the whole center seems to radiate warmth.
Come closer and the surface turns soft and mottled, with a fine speckled, marbled grain. Thin, overlapping contour lines run through the ribbons and give them a silky, liquid depth. This is digital art, so you will find no brushwork here, only smooth, layered color.
What you'll see in the piece
- Strict four-way mirror symmetry: the balance feels calm and deliberate, and the eye is drawn straight to the center.
- A golden heart-and-lattice axis: this gives the wall one bright focal point between the darker sides.
- Deep crimson, burnt orange and golden yellow, softened by peach, apricot and cream: the color is fiery and warm without feeling flat.
- Pale lobes that look backlit and translucent: they make the image seem to glow against the dark red.
- A marbled, speckled grain with fine overlapping lines: it rewards a closer look and gives the surface a silky, liquid feel.
- A thin dark border: it frames the design cleanly.
Where it belongs
Ember Wings is a vertical piece, so it suits a narrow wall, the space above a console, an entry or a stairwell. Above a sofa or a bed headboard, its warm center can anchor the wall. The red and gold are strong enough to carry a large wall.
The symmetry also works in multiples. A bold pair of mirrored panels would repeat the piece's own rhythm across a wall.
- This is for you if you want a bold, glowing red, orange and gold abstract that stands out in the room.
- This is for you if mirror symmetry and kaleidoscope-style pattern appeal to you.
